We're Tired of Trainspotting

TWO STARS of hit movie Trainspotting yesterday claimed the film's success had
haunted them throughout their careers.

Kevin McKidd and Susan Vidler say they are fed up with the cult classic which
launched the career of Ewan McGregor.

As McGregor tasted global fame in the new Star Wars movie, McKidd and Vidler were
in Glasgow filming a nine minute film for the BBC's Tartan Short series.

McKidd, last seen in horror movie Dog Soldiers, said: "I have never been envious of the
success enjoyed by Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle, never, not once.

"But, to be honest, I am tired of the Trainspotting connection now."
