Many of you might have known Richard Jobson.
He's in the Skid. He has an album and a poem of the same name.
He's also a TV presenter and a film critic and a producer. Kevin
will play the lead in this film. And Sean Biggerstaff has done
a reading on it. Maybe he'll be somhow involved in the film
too. The story centres around Frankie and his two loves Mary
and Helen, and Frankie trying to outlive his past. Tartan Films
seems to be backing it up, and they're hoping Wong Kar-wai to
co-produce this film. (I've also read that it was Wong who encouraged
Jobson to direct the film!) It would be interesting if Wong
is involved in the film too. Personally, that would be excellent,
for that pretty much means a Hong Kong release, and that is
the best thing that could happen to a fan from HK ;) Filming
has started on 2 June, 2002, and it is a 4-week shoot in and
around Edinburgh.
Thanks Kevin for the info! If you have
further information on the film, please email
me!
